An open-bottom box is the basic structure for creating a "square foot garden." This one uses two 8' lengths of 2x12" lumber, cut in half and connected at the corners. The open-bottomed box can be placed over ground which shall be prepared, or on any other surface (even raised for wheelchair access). This particular box shall sit atop a single layer of "weed barrier" to make later clean-up simpler.
